Brynne Fitzpatrick, Valley Christian
Position: Pitcher
Year: Junior

Fitzpatrick is the Prep2Prep CCS Player of the Year and the WCAL Pitcher of the Year after striking out more than two batters an inning (381 strikeouts in 186 1/3 innings), going 21-7 in the circle with 10 shutouts, limiting opponents to a .096 batting average and hitting .348 herself, with two home runs and 16 runs batted in.


Rebecca Faulkner, Carlmont
Position: Pitcher
Year: Senior

Faulkner went 19-1 in the circle with 15 complete games in leading Carlmont to a section title. Had a 1.17 ERA and struck out 159 while only walking 17 in 149 innings. Also hit .424 with three home runs, three triples and seven doubles, while knocking in 40 runs and managing a slugging percentage of .646. Struck out just five times.



Holly Geranen, Leland
Position: Pitcher
Year: Senior

Geranen hit .466 with six home runs, one triple and 11 doubles and drove in 28 runs. In the circle she went 21-3 with a 1.09 ERA and struck out 119 and walked 42 in 154 2/3 innings. She had 22 complete games and 10 shutouts.



Alex Luna, Pioneer
Position: Catcher
Year: Junior

Luna hit .447 with five home runs, eight doubles and 24 RBI. Walked eight times and struck out only five. Had three hits in Pioneer's 7-4 section title loss to Mitty.



Noa Yakir, Homestead
Position: Infielder
Year: Junior

Yakir hit .520 with nine home runs, two triples and 12 doubles. Her 43 runs batted in almost look like a misprint, as do her .574 on-base percentage and .950 slugging percentage. Also walked 14 times and struck out only seven times while scoring 35 runs.



Jazmyn Jackson, Archbishop Mitty
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

Jackson hit .538 with eight home runs, seven triple, 14 doubles and 27 runs batted in as a leadoff hitter. She drew 21 walks and was hit by three pitches, struck out just six times, had an on-base percentage of .635, a slugging percentage of 1.109 and stole 19 bases in 20 attempts. On defense at shortstop, the toughest position on the field, she made just five errors all-season. Was the Prep2Prep Player of the Year as a junior, the P2P Senior of the Year and WCAL Player of the Year as a senior.



Callee Heen, San Benito
Position: Infielder
Year: Sophomore

Named MVP of the MBL-Gabilan, Heen hit .617 with 12 home runs, two triples and 11 doubles; drove in 46 runs, had a .652 on-base percentage and a 1.247 slugging percentage. Also walked nine times.



Makenzie Drake, Pioneer
Position: Infielder
Year: Sophomore

Drake hit .532 with two home runs, one triple and 14 doubles while driving in 13 runs. Scored 21 runs, struck out just twice and had eight sacrifices.



Danielle Bowers, Archbishop Mitty
Position: Outfielder
Year: Junior

Bowers hit .433 with 12 doubles, five triples and four home runs. Had a .472 on-base percentage and a .783 slugging percentage. The Cal commit hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run in the section title game 7-4 victory against Pioneer and made a key throw and diving catch during Pioneer's three-run third inning, preventing her team from getting tied or falling behind.



Morgan Ratliff, Wilcox
Position: Outfielder/Pitcher
Year: Junior

Ratliff hit .467 with 10 extra base hits and 23 RBI, stole 19 bases in 20 attempts and had a 3-1 record in the circle.



Desiree Severance, Archbishop Mitty
Position: Utility
Year: Junior

Prep2Prep's Junior of the Year -- an All-WCAL first-team pick -- went 15-0 in the circle with a 0.63 ERA, seven shutouts, 92 strikeouts and 26 walks in 89.1 innings, with opponents hitting just 142 against her. Hit .365 with 24 runs batted in, four extra base hits and nine walks. Had two hits and two RBI in 7-4 CCS title win against Pioneer and threw out a runner at the plate in the pivotal third innings.
