- The mission of Prep2Prep is to provide opportunities for students interested in journalism to cover high school sports at their own and at neighboring schools. Since our inception, hundreds of students have gone through our program and wound up at some of the finest universities in the nation.

CCS Baseball Division 2: Mitty stays hot, defeats Palma for title

Despite finishing seventh in the WCAL, Mitty caught fire in the postseason, capturing the CCS Division 2 title Friday night with a 5-2 win over Palma at Excite Ballpark in San Jose. Senior Felix Chang went 3-for-3 with a triple, home run and two runs scored to back the pitching of junior Gabe Lopez, who worked six innings for the win. Senior Andre Lopez-Monsivais pitched a perfect seventh for the save. [read more]
