St. Francis won the game, 4-0, to advance to the Central Coast Section Division II championship game, where it lost to Los Altos, 1-0.


Head of the Class

LOS ALTOS MF Allie Crum steps to the head of the class in Week 14 for her outstanding performance as the Eagles (14-5-3) captured the CCS Division II championship by beating the top two rated teams in CCS all season. Crum scored the game's only goal in a win over ARCHBISHOP MITTY in the semifinals and then repeated the trick with the game-winning goal against ST. FRANCIS in the final. For the season, Crum, a sophomore, finished the season with nine goals and two assists.



Dean's List

Jillienne Aguilar, F, WOODSIDE . The freshman scored three goals in a 4-3 overtime win over LOS GATOS in the CCS Division I semifinals.

Danyelle Allen, F, THE KING'S ACADEMY . The senior scored two goals in a win over SANTA CRUZ in the CCS Division III semifinals and scored the game's only goal in a win over HARBOR in the CCS Division III championship.

Lauren Holland, MF, WOODSIDE . The sophomore had three assists in a 4-3 win over LOS GATOS in the CCS Division I semifinals. For the season, Holland finished with a remarkable total of 23 assists to go along with 11 goals.

Tess Wendelken, GK, LOS ALTOS . The freshman posted a shutout in a 1-0 win over ARCHBISHOP MITTY in the CCS Division II semifinals and was credited with 14 saves in a 1-0 win over ST. FRANCIS in the CCS Division II final.

McKinly Yeager, GK, SANTA TERESA . The freshman was credited with 11 saves and was the winning goalkeeper in the penalty kick shootout against MOUNTAIN VIEW in the CCS Division I semifinals and was credited with 11 more saves in the 0-0 draw with WOODSIDE in the CCS Division I championship.
