BVAL Player of the Year
NSIMBA WEBSTER, QB, DEER VALLEY

Deer Valley's Nsimba Webster has been compared to the Washington Redskins' Robert Griffin III, and nothing in Webster's performance would discourage such a claim.

Webster this season completed 109-of-194 passes for 2,026 yards and 22 touchdowns with four interceptions. He also ran 154 times for 1,544 yards and 28 scores.

One of his TD runs, during which Webster (5-11, 170) juked seemingly the whole Castro Valley team, became an Internet sensation.

"He's freaking phenomenal," rival Pittsburg coach Vic Galli told MaxPreps.com. "He's one of the best athletes I've ever coached against. He extends play. He's extremely accurate with his throws. I admit, he's just exciting to watch. He's RG4."

Oh, and Webster is also a multi-sport star, starting at guard on the basketball team and as a long jumper (22 feet, 8 inches in the long jump) and a triple-jumper (45-8 1/2) on the track and field team.

Together with twin brother Nzuzi, a receiver, the Websters made things tough on Deer Valley opponents.
