SCVAL-EC Player of the Year
CHRISTOPHER "LAMBIE" LANMAN, QB, LOS ALTOS

Christopher "Lambie" Lanman knew his share of disappointment in going 1-19 on varsity before this season. This year with new coach Trevor Pruitt at the controls and Lanman slinging passes, Los Altos finished 8-2.

"It was a great season," Lanman said. "It was definitely bittersweet not making CCS (playoffs), but that's the way it goes. I was proud of my team and our accomplishments. It was a struggle the previous two seasons and to go through last year 0-10 with all these guys and to know things would get better once Coach Pruitt was hired was something. It was like night and day -- pretty crazy."

Lanman completed 140-of-208 passes (67 percent) for 2,198 yards and 21 touchdowns, with six intercepted. He also rushed 15 times for 50 yards and four scores.

Also considered: Justin Cena, RB, Monta Vista.
