Joe Demers, College Park
Position: Pitcher
Year: Junior

Demers went 12-2 on the mound with a 0.65 ERA, with 94 strikeouts, and only nine base on balls issued. At the plate, he also had 32 RBIs and three home runs, hitting .371 and helping lead the Falcons to an NCS Division II title.


Noah Bremer, Berkeley
Position: Pitcher
Year: Senior

Bremer went 10-1 with 0.38 ERA. Recorded 110 strikeouts in 92 innings. Signed with University of Washington, older brother Tyler pitches in the Cubs organization.



Justin Hooper, De La Salle
Position: Pitcher
Year: Junior

Hooper went 6-3 with a 2.04 ERA. Pitched in title game championship, winning against San Ramon Valley.



Lucas Halstead, Monte Vista
Position: Catcher
Year: Senior

Halstead completed the season with a .378 average, four home runs and 17 RBIs. Will attend the University of the Pacific.



Cameron Santos, California
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

Batted .412 with six doubles and three home runs. He also had 15 RBIs and will attend Chico State.



Denis Karas, Campolindo
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

Karas has a commitment to play baseball at Cal. He hit .380 with four homers and 10 stolen bases. Was selected in the 24th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates.



Ryan Anderson, Foothill
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

Hit .386 with eight doubles, four home runs and 22 RBIs. He also had eight stolen bases and will play at UC Davis next season.



Austin Piscotty, Amador Valley
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

Batted .365 with 17 RBIs; committed to St. Mary’s



Nick Poirer, San Ramon Valley
Position: Infielder
Year: Senior

UC Santa Barbara commit, Poirier batted .410 with four doubles and 14 RBIs.



John Velasco, De La Salle
Position: Outfielder
Year: Senior

Velasco batted .397 with nine doubles and two home runs. He was also a 1,000-yard rusher for the Spartans football team.



Casey Soltis, Granada
Position: Outfielder
Year: Senior

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Soltis, was the 137th overall selection in the MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins. This season for the Matadors, he hit .353 with a .472 on-base percentage, scored 27 runs and had 16 RBIs in 26 games. Soltis also had 13 stolen bases on the year. He was named EBAL MVP.



Trevor Larnach, College Park
Position: Outfielder
Year: Junior

Only a junior, Larnach had 30 RBIs and 14 doubles, with a .436 batting average helping the Falcons to a NCS Division II title.



Cal Stevenson, Kennedy
Position: Utility
Year: Senior

Stevenson had a .510 batting average, 11 RBIs, 5 triples and two home runs on the year, with 23 stolen bases. On the mound he had a 1.13 ERA with 92 strikeouts. He’ll be playing at the University of Nevada (Reno) next year.
