NCS Freshman of the Year
CALEL ARAMBOLES, CALIFORNIA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF
The 5-foot-10, 247-pound freshman burst onto the scene for the Eagles, serving as a wrecking-ball type of force in the backfield, rushing for 841 yards and 10 touchdowns as CSD posted an 11-win season.
Aramboles also made a huge impact defensively, posting 50 tackles with three tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He earned first-team All-BFL honors in his first year of high school.
Other players considered for this award: Piner’s Jake Herman and Healdsburg’s Juan Anzures.
