CCS Junior of the Year
LEKI NUNN, SERRA

Nunn played quarterback for the Padres and a smidgeon of running back and led the WCAL in rushing (1,068 yards) and passing (1,766) during the regular season. He was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

A running back on the freshman team and QB for just four games in 2014, Nunn has started only 14 varsity games at QB. His brother Patrick quarterbacked the 2015 Serra junior varsity team.

Nunn led the Padres to a 6-4 mark and 4-3 in the WCAL, good for a three-way tie for third place. Nunn finished the season with three straight 200+ yards passing performances, capped by a season-high 295 yards in a 42-21 win over Valley Christian. Perhaps Nunn's best game came in a 56-7 win over St. Ignatius in which he completed 13-of-16 passes for 279 yards and five touchdowns.
