Senior forward Taylor Locke added to her early-season haul with a pair of goals as Presentation defeated Soquel, 4-1, Saturday December 1 in a non-league game in San Jose. Locke tallied her sixth and seventh goals of the young season as the Panthers improved to 3-0. Soquel dropped to 1-1.
Locke scored both of her goals in the first half as Presentation led 2-1 at the break. The Panthers extended the lead to 3-1 on a goal by senior midfielder Maggie von Massenhausen off an assist from senior Maddy Kelly. Sophomore midfielder Gabbie Sanfilippo notched Presentation's tally with an unassisted goal for the final 4-1 score.
The Panthers are off to a fast start, having outscored their opponents 13-2 in winning their first three non-league games of the season in preparation for a difficult WCAL league schedule.
