In a battle between Prep2Prep's top two-ranked teams in CCS, the Warriors (3-1, 1-0) emerged victorious on the strength of a pair of touchdown runs from senior Charlie Bostic (12 carries, 124 yards) and a 90-yard touchdown run by junior D'Angelo McKenzie.
St. Francis (2-2, 0-1) pulled within 28-21 on a touchdown pass from Reed Vettel to Evan J. Williams with 1:42 left.
Valley Christian travels to St. Ignatius (1-3, 0-1) Saturday afternoon while St. Francis hosts Sacred Heart Cathedral (4-0, 1-0) Friday night.
