SAN JOSE - Harker finished with a strong fourth quarter, defeating North Monterey County, 56-43, in the quarterfinals of the Lynbrook Winter Classic.
Junior Richard Wang led a balanced Eagles' attack with 10 points, as Harker closed the game with a 20-11 advantage over the final eight minutes, pulling away from what had been a four-point margin after three quarters.
Junior Jarrett Anderson added nine points for Harker, while seniors Brando Pakel and Eric Jeong each contributed eight points.
Harker faces Lynbrook on Friday in the tournament semifinals.
