Palo Alto kept its CCS playoff hopes alive with a 42-21 win over visiting Saratoga Friday night in an SCVAL-De Anza Division matchup.
The Vikings (2-6, 2-2 SCVAL-DA) are in a three-way tie for third place in the SCVAL-DA, with the top four teams receiving automatic bids to the playoffs. Junior quarterback Jackson Chryst threw three touchdown passes for the Vikings, who also got 111 yards rushing and two touchdowns from senior Paul Jackson III.
Palo Alto takes on Los Altos (2-6, 0-4) Friday night while Saratoga (0-8, 0-4) hosts rival Los Gatos (3-5, 2-2).
