AYANNA CLARK, LONG BEACH POLY

Ayanna Clark dominated throughout her entire senior year for Poly, averaging 15.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. The USC-bound center and McDonald's All-American was named one of the CIF Southern Section Players of the Year, along with Harvard Westlake's Jayla Ruffus-Milner.


Coach of the Year
MELISSA HEARLIHY, HARVARD-WESTLAKE


Westlake's head coach, Melissa Hearlihy, did a masterful job leading her group to a 25-5 overall record.



Harvard-Westlake's Melissa Hearlihy is the Prep2Prep SS Coach of the Year.

FIRST TEAM ALL-SS

Jayla Ruffus-Milner, Harvard Westlake
Position: Guard
Year: Junior

Ruffus-Milner guided Westlake to a fantastic season, developing into a clear leader as the year progressed. Harvard Westlake will be expecting big things from Ruffus-Milner next season, projected as one of the top seniors in the state.


Charisma Osborne, Windward
Position: Guard
Year: Sophomore

The talented sophomore has already taken on a leadership role with Windward. She scores at will and is already a state champion, through just two years at Windward. The 2019 guard averaged 20.5 points per game this past season, hitting 88 threes in the process.



Naomi Hunt, Troy
Position: Guard
Year: Senior

Troy's Naomi Hunt had a fabulous senior season, coming to an end against the eventual state champions, Clovis West. Despite her team's defeat, Hunt posted a solid 17 point, 4 rebound performance against Clovis. The Long Beach State-bound guard put up totals of 16.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.



Jillian Archer, Bishop Alemany
Position: Forward
Year: Junior

Jillian Archer had a brilliant junior season for Bishop Alemany, averaging a double-double and leading the Warriors to a 25-9 overall record. A MaxPreps top-20 Class of 2018 forward, Archer posted 11.4 points and 10.3 boards per contest.



Ayanna Clark, Long Beach Poly
Position: Center
Year: Senior

McDonalds All-American, USC commit, and ESPN's No. 17-overall prospect Ayanna Clark exceeded already sky-high expectations for Long Beach Poly. The 6-foot-1 senior posted 15.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game, guiding the Jack Rabbits to 12-0 league and 27-4 overall records.


SECOND TEAM ALL-SS

Kianna Smith, Troy
Position: Guard
Year: Senior

Kianna Smith, ESPN's sixth-ranked guard and McDonald's All-American, put in over 21 points per game and took Troy to a 10-0 record in league play. Cal is getting a magnificent guard next year in Smith, who also rebounds well for her size.


Triann Thompson, Lakeside
Position: Guard
Year: Senior

A 5-foot-7 senior point guard out of Lake Elsinore, Triann Thompson led Lakeside to a 24-6 overall record. Thompson scored 19 points per game, dishing out four assists and snatching four boards as well.


Jasmine Jones, Long Beach Poly
Position: Forward
Year: Senior

Long Beach Poly's Jasmine Jones assisted the Prep2Prep POY, Ayanna Clark, in leading the team to a successful season. Jones averaged a near double-double with 12.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.



Rachel Bowers, Canyon
Position: Forward
Year: Junior

Canyon High felt very fortunate all season to have this 6-foot-3 forward on their squad, junior Rachel Bowers. Bowers scored 13 points, grabbed 10.5 rebounds, and swatted 2.7 shots per game, always filling up the stat sheet.



Samantha Fries, Esperanza
Position: Center
Year: Sophomore

Samantha Fries, a young 6-foot-1 center from Anaheim, showed flashes of dominance all year. Just a sophomore, Fries led Esperanza to an overall mark of 26-4, putting up 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
