Mount Miguel guard Satera Bates showcased her versatility all year, putting up 23.2 points and 4.2 boards per game at just 5-foot-6. The Matadors finished 19-11 behind Bates, 10-0 in conference play. The scrappy point guard showed tremendous improvement from her junior year, in which she scored just six points a game. Bates is an example of what persistent, hard work can lead to in earning Prep2Prep SDS Senior of the Year honors.
