Player of the Year CHELSEY GIPSON, PALISADES
By ERIC HE Prep2Prep
Gipson starred as a guard for Palisades after transferring her sophomore year, averaging 24.4 points last season, career high. She finished second in the nation in 3-point field goals and ended
her high school career with three Open CIF section championships. She led Palisades to back-to-back section titles in 2015 and 2016, followed by a league championship this season. A quick, shifty and athletic guard, Gipson will suit up for Loyola Marymount next season as one of the top high school recruits.
