CCS Freshman of the Year
CHARLOTTE LEVISON, SACRED HEART PREP

The Gators didn’t have a great season in 2016-17, but they have reason to be excited with this promising freshman point guard. Levison tallied 13.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game through games of January 13th. Her best game during that stretch was against Berkeley (24 points, seven rebounds, four assists). She made the WBAL Second Team.

In March, the San Mateo Daily Journal named her Athlete of the Week. She netted 33 points, with five three-pointers, against Oceana and had 26 points and 10 rebounds in an upset win over Foothill-Sacramento.

On a team with only two seniors, Levison stepped up big, and is part of a young core that is sure to shine in the next few years. Sacred Heart Prep assistant coach Andrea Hernandez says that when Levison is in the game “She brings in a lot of passion and gets her teammates going as well.”

Other players considered for this award: Gabby Giuffre, Aptos
