CCS Senior of the Year
ANDREW KETTLE, PIONEER

Kettle started the season strong with a goal in a 2-0 win over eventual BVAL-Mount Hamilton champ Branham and never slowed down, finishing with 20 goals and 10 assists to lead Pioneer to a historic season.

The Mustangs did not lose a match until the CCS Open Division semifinals against St. Ignatius, where they fell 4-3 to the eventual champions. Kettle scored a goal as Pioneer advanced to the semis in penalty kicks against Branham and then tallied again vs. the Wildcats as the Mustangs built a 2-0 lead before falling. Pioneer finished 18-1-3, winning the BVAL-Santa Teresa Division in dominant fashion by going 13-0-1 and outscoring its opposition 44-4.

NOTE: We would like to thank our media partners, coaches, parents, players and fans for contributing photos for our all-section features. We salute all of the players that have made this a wonderful season of CCS soccer.
