CCS Freshman of the Year

Clark made an immediate impact for the Crusaders, averaging near 11 points per game in his inaugural high school campaign, including a season-high 21 points against Bellarmine.

The freshman displayed an all-around game which resulted in All-WCAL honors after the season. Clark led Riordan in assists and steals, while also setting a program record for free throw percentage in a single season, hitting 97 of 113 shots from the charity stripe for an 86 percent mark from the line.

His well-rounded game extended to nearly every aspect, as he was second on the team in both rebounds and three-point shots made.

Other players considered for this award: Pajaro Valley’s Christian Quintero, Terra Nova’s Jordan Salgado, and Cupertino’s Jack Townsend.

NOTE: We would like to thank our media partners, coaches, parents, players and fans for contributing photos for our all-section features. We salute all of the players that have made this a wonderful season of CCS basketball.
