P2P Honor Roll
Prep2Prep Photo of the Week

Prep2Prep contributor Eddie Garcia (Serra High School) captures the sheer emotion of Sacred Heart Prep RB Ben Burr-Kirven and a member of the coaching staff celebrating their team's 13-7 win over rival Menlo in the championship of the CCS Division IV Playoffs. SHP needed a late defensive stand to hold off the high-powered Menlo offense to finish the season 12-1 and capture the championship with its second grueling victory of the season over the Knights.

Head of the Class

Valley Christian QB Jay MacIntyre steps to the head of the class in Week 14 for his outstanding performance in a 51-20 win over Aptos in the CCS Division III title game. The junior completed 7-of-8 passes for 120 yards and 3 TDs - all in the first half - returned a fumble for a touchdown and had an interception as the Warriors captured the championship. All in all, it's been a good football season for the MacIntyres, as Jay's dad, Mike, coached San Jose State to a 10-2 mark and an invitation to the Military Bowl, the Spartans' first bowl appearance since 2006. For the season, MacIntyre led Valley Christian to the highest point total in the WCAL as the Warriors were one of the highest-scoring teams in all of CCS at over 40 points per game.
