    Sophomore Brenda Cruz paced a 15-hit attack as the Milpitas softball team downed host Lynbrook, 10-6, Friday afternoon in a Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division contest.     Last Friday night began with a drizzle that turned into a downpour in Milpitas, as the top-seeded Trojans buried visiting Silver Creek, 56-7, in the first round of the CCS Division I playoffs. The win earns Milpitas (8-3) a semifinal date with fifth-seeded Sequoia, which upset Menlo-Atherton 27-7 Friday night.
