Former Heritage High and East Carolina University standout Ali Ramirez is hosting a free softball camp this Saturday, for ages 6-17, with registration taking place at 9:30 am, at Central Park in Pittsburg.
Ramirez is currently coaching at North Carolina Central University, and interested athletes can also pre-register at the camp website. All participants will also receive a free barbecue lunch after the camp, provided by the Pittsburg High football team. She was a standout softball player for the Patriots before going on to an outstanding collegiate career and now entering the coaching ranks at the collegiate level.
