Sophomore Jacob Ebert exploded for a season-high 35 points, as Cornerstone Christian cruised to its 11th win of the season on Monday night, routing Archbishop Hanna, 100-72.
Ebert shot 13-of-19 from the floor for the Cougars, who led 34-13 at the end of the first quarter. That included a 4-of-6 effort from beyond the three-point line. Senior James Ebert, who leads the team in scoring for the season, complemented his younger brother's effort with 19 points, as five Cornerstone players got into double figures.
Juniors Matthew Broad Caedmon Minor and added 14 points each, while junior Ezra Hunter, Jr. chipped in 12 points.
Cornerstone Christian improved to 11-1 for the season, and heads to Bentley on Tuesday night in a battle of top small private schools. Hanna fell to 5-6, and is off until Jan. 8, when the Hawks face Laytonville.
