Freshman Aniyah Colding scored a pair of goals to lead San Leandro past Antioch on Monday evening, 3-2, in a non-league home game for the Pirates.
Senior Katherine Magana added her first goal of the season for San Leandro, which improved to 4-1 with the victory. Colding, meanwhile, has found the back of the net in four of the Pirates' five matches this season, and has tallied five goals in a fast start to her high school career.
Junior Mikayla Coria and freshman Devan Scheringer each scored goals for Antioch, which fell to 7-4 with the defeat, the Panthers' second loss in a row following a five-match win streak. Scheringer is off to a blistering start in her first high school season, with 18 goals in 11 matches.
Senior Ameoly Garcia and sophomore Kimberly Granados each notched assists for San Leandro, which hosts Berkeley on Wednesday. Antioch looks to snap its mini-skid at De Anza on Saturday afternoon.
