Balanced effort leads SRV past Dougherty Valley

San Ramon Valley scored 49 first-half points, on its way to a 56-0 win over Dougherty Valley in EBAL action on Friday night.

Daniel Medley ran for three touchdowns in a little over a quarter, and Clark Baker added three passing touchdowns, as the Wolves (3-0, 2-0 EBAL) cruised past the Wildcats at home.

Junior running back Jason Javier added 102 yards and two touchdowns, on just nine carries, to round out the scoring.

Baker completed 7 of 11 passes for 144 yards and the three scores. Matt Gillespie had three catches for 114 yards and two scores, while Koby Gross added an early touchdown catch.

The defensive secondary got into the act, as Nicolai Katona and Reyn Akabane each had interceptions in the game.

San Ramon Valley heads to unbeaten California this coming Friday, while Dougherty Valley (0-3, 0-2) looks for its first win at home against San Lorenzo.
