Danyelle Allen scored a goal in the 72nd minute as The King's Academy pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the Central Coast Section girls soccer playoffs with a 1-0 victory at Scotts Valley Wednesday afternoon in Division III action. The 13th seeded Knights (7-6-5) entered the tournament having won just three of its final nine matches. The fourth-seeded Falcons (9-7-5), on the other hand, had lost just one game at home all season.

The victory by King's sets up an unlikely matchup of low seeds, as the Knights move on to face West Bay Athletic League Foothill Division rival and No. 12 seed Woodside Priory, which upset No. 5 Santa Catalina, 5-1. The King's Academy and Woodside Priory met twice during the regular season, resulting in 3-3 and 2-2 ties. The match is set for a 12 pm kickoff at St. Francis High School in Mountain View.
