    On a beautiful late afternoon for soccer, the Bellarmine Bells soundly defeated the visiting Valley Christian Warriors by a final score of 4-0 Wednesday in WCAL action.     Coming up on Friday night at 7:30pm at San Jose City College, the St. Ignatius Wildcats and Bellarmine Bells will go head-to-head to crown a CCS Open Division champion. Bellarmine (11-1 overall) is hoping for a Northern California regional bowl berth while St. Ignatius (9-3 overall) is hoping to win back-to-back CCS titles, with their championship coming in the Division III bracket last year. ...Read more

    On a rainy, blustery evening at San Jose City College, the Bellarmine Bells defeated the Terra Nova Tigers in the quarterfinals of the CCS Open Division playoffs by a final score of 33-14. The Bells (10-1), who were coming off a 42-13 blowout win last week against Sacred Heart Cathedral, now face WCAL rival Serra in the Open semifinals next weekend, while the season is over for the PAL-Bay champion Tigers (6-5). ...Read more

    On a chilly Friday night on the hill at Valley Christian, the Bellarmine Bells had their offense firing on all cylinders for a tough-fought 38-35 victory. The win assures the Bells (8-1, 6-0 WCAL) of no worse than a tie for first place with Serra; however, Bellarmine has already defeated the Padres and would capture the tiebreaker.
